United Kingdom 2012- Day 7: Swansea, Wales

Today, we drove from our B&B in Aberystwyth down south to Swansea. Once we arrived in Swansea, we stopped by where Zeb used to live, the church he attended, and Swansea University where he studied. We even ran into one of his old classmates in the library! 

For lunch, we went back to one of Zeb's favorite cafe's, but once we got there we learned it closed a year earlier. It was a sad moment, but we still stayed and we had lunch at this new place (in the old building).

In the evening, we decided to do somethine new, we went to a movie! We went and saw the movie "Ted" and it was fun seeing a movie in a country that is not the USA. We bought the "Premium" seats not knowing the difference. It was assigned seats, had head rest, more leg room, and a larger chair. It was nice, but I think we could have done without. They even walked us to our seats. What service!

After our movie, we ventured to the City Centre where they had a jumbo screen on showing the Olympics in London. Guess who we saw on the TV? We saw Lisa (Koll) Uhl, who used to be Zeb's next door neighbor at Iowa State University. It was fun watching her run the 10,000m race. We then had dinner at one of our favorite pizza places, Pizza Express.

Tomorrow we are hanging out with some old friends from Swansea!
