Down Under 2014 - Day 5 - Mokai Gravity Canyon

Thursday, June 5, 2014

Check out this short video to see everything we did today at Gravity Canyon!

HOLY BUNGEE! Today we spent the morning driving from Waitomo to Taihpae, New Zealand. It was approximately a 3-hour gorgeous drive of mountains, rolling hills, and many sheep. Driving through the gorgeous countryside of New Zealand is breathtaking and one of the many highlights of this trip.

Today, we set out to conquer a 100mph zipline, giant tandem swing, and a solo bungee jump. All three activities were done back-to-back-to-back and made for an exhausting day due to the adrenaline rush. Amanda was quite hesitant about the solo bungee but she mustered up the courage and conquered her fears and bungeed off the 262 foot bridge! Go Amanda! Zeb loved the solo bungee so much that one jump was not good enough and he had to go for a second jump.

These activities today provided an adrenaline rush like no other. With all the activities we’ve done around the world, this by far, provided the biggest rush and left us speechless and shaking with adrenaline. IT WAS AWESOME!
